Celine and Derrick had a east meets west theme to their wedding. Celine was Chinese and Derrick was American. He was very interested in incorporating her culture into their wedding.

Their main color was purple and the bride and groom were very flexible when it comes to the variety of purple being used throughout their wedding pieces.

Here are the different pieces that made up this pocket fold invitation. It is held shut by the double happiness tag and a silver ribbon.

The symbol was also used on the menu and the shot glasses that was filled with M&M candy and used as an escort card favor.

The menu was mounted on the same paper as the invitation with an explanation of the symbol on the back. It was tuck inside the napkin of every plate setting.
